Вечер завершает Пятая симфония Бетховена, известная как Симфония Судьбы, «одно из самых выдающихся произведений эпохи» по словам Е.Т.А. Гофмана. - Описание: In 2018 the band took 'Songs of Experience' on the road across North America and Europe. It was a tour that was widely praised but in the midst of the growing refugee crisis and the rise of extremist politics in Europe, the final night in particular, at Berlin's Mercedez-Benz Arena last November, was lauded as a show for this moment in time. As Bono's devilish alter-ego Macphisto, puts it: "Remember, Berlin, whenever you see a journalist being crushed, or children being separated from their parents, whenever the lost or the lonely are washed up on borders that are closed... you will find me.' With a new year beginning, the band have curated a special 75 minute edition of the two hour long performance, which will air as a concert special on broadcast networks as 2020 arrives. At the end of a tumultous and divisive year in many countries, the word from early screenings is that this is a show to bring people together. And in the UK, for the first time ever for a concert film, Sky Arts and Sky One will air the show at the same time, a double-channel take over.

The live concert was recorded in Harpa concert hall, Reykjavík, Iceland on 22 June 2012. It was part of the Thick as Brick Tour by Ian Anderson and his touring band in Europe and the United States throughout 2012 and 2013. Anne Phoebe added the violin each night from her bedroom in North London.
